Der Dichter Yvan Goll, auf seinem Krankenbett der Zersetzung und dem Tod ausgeliefert, nahm in Gedichten voller surrealer Schönheit von seiner Frau, der Schriftstellerin Claire Goll, abschied. Die Witwe befreit sich in dutzenden von Ritualen aus dem Sarg der Erinnerungen. Eine Metamorphose, inspiriert von Claire Golls Leben und den schönsten Gedichten Yvan Golls (1891 – 1950), eines deutsch-französischen Klassikers der Moderne.

Die Inszenierung nimmt die Perspektive der um den Gefährten, Liebhaber, Schriftstellerkollegen trauernden Witwe Claire Goll ein. Wir verbinden zeitgenössische Musik, zeitgenössischen Tanz, Projection-Art und formen so eine bildstarke Welt, die auf der elektronischen Musik des Komponisten Jules Desgoutte schwebend von den schönsten Gedichten Yvan Golls und den Memoiren Claire Golls inspiriert ist.

About to have courage for a new love after the partner died.
GRAVITYLove is inspired by the memories of n Claire Goll. Born 1891, her husband, the French-German poet Yvan Goll died 1950. Yvan spent his last months in a hospital surrounded by flowers and the animals of the park. He addressed his last poems to his wife – the widow Claire.
“You are a dancer of fear | in the circle of red warriors the music of bones is elating you | But you never blow up the circle and never you float to me.” (Yvan Goll)
From the point of view of the widow Claire, GRAVITYLove is about the breakup into a new life, a mythical journey about reconciliation with the idea of the partner being dead and the first – second – third and final steps in a new relationship while the presence of death seems to be everywhere.

Fear of life! – Love of life! In GRAVITYLove principles of life and of death are fighting.
Claire outlived Yvan for 30 years and she had an excessive life. Taking (also much younger) lovers even in high age she wrote several novels.
The choreography is inspired by butoh dance.

„Yvan Goll, poet of German- and French tongue, according to Kurt Pinthus >>Jewish by faith, born in France by accident, called German because of a stamped paper<<, was little-known in Germany and in France, and if he was, so one-sided. The main reasons are based – in the truest sense of the word – on the heavy accessibility of his work with problems of editing and of the language. For a start a new engagement of perception of the works and theoretical reflections of this important writer of the European avant-garde can be recognized, after the literary remains of the poet and his wife Claire Goll are now publicly available.” (Ute Altanis-Protzer © 2013)
